This work focuses on the iconic scene of five musicians performing from Han Xizai's Night Revels. The pyrographic pen meticulously captures the moment they lower their gaze and dedicate themselves to the music, as if the rhythm of the pipa and bamboo flute is about to flow from the scorching strokes. Using wood as paper and fire as ink, this pyrography eternally solidifies the fervor and focus of this millennium-old elegant gathering within the unique wood grain, allowing the viewer to hear the roaring echoes of a flourishing age within silence.
