
Li Cailan, a pyrography artist and inheritor of intangible cultural heritage, is a top-notch talent among the new literary and artistic groups of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a national vocational skills competition referee of the China Disabled Persons' Federation, a master of arts and crafts in Shaanxi Province, and a painter of the Shaanxi Academy of Calligraphy and Painting for All Circles.
With two decades of dedication to the art, she has committed herself to the inheritance and innovation of Chinese pyrography techniques, and accumulated profound theoretical knowledge and rich practical experience. Her works have won numerous national and provincial awards. Her representative and chief-created works—the large-scale pyrography murals Flourishing Chang'an and Light of the Silk Road—are permanently on display at the National Archives of Publications and Culture in Xi'an.
