On the critical issue of pyrography fading, which has long restricted the development of the craft, Mr. Han Shen conducted nearly 20 years of continuous experiments and research, and pioneered the theoretical system of "Relative Fading" and "Absolute Fading".

Based on optics, molecular science, wood science and colorimetry, he solved the worldwide technical problem of pyrography fading from the perspectives of visual illusion and molecular theory for the first time, lifting China to a leading position in this field globally.
His research was highly recognized by experts at IAPA, with the full English paper published on the official website of the association. It has also been verified and affirmed by the dean and related experts of the College of Material Science and Engineering, Northeast Forestry University.
